Beginning in 2006, properly post-marked absentee ballots may be counted up to 14 days following Election Day. For the 2008 General Primary Election, absentee ballots received in the County Clerk’s office within 14 days of the election but postmarked as of February 4, 2008 will be counted in the County Clerk’s office.
