As of January 1, 2008, the Smoke-Free Illinois Act prohibits smoking in all indoor public places and places of employment and within 15 feet of doors, windows that open and ventilation intakes that serve smoke-free areas. The act is meant to protect employees and patrons from the dangers of secondhand smoke.

Submit a Complaint
