The McLean County Sheriff’s Office is proud to be able to participate with Olympia School District #16 by providing a school resource officer (SRO).
During December of 2016, Deputy Jordan Krone began his full-time duties as the SRO for the school district. The School Resource Officer Program is a cooperative effort to the reduction and prevention of school-related violence and crime committed by juveniles and young adults. In addition, we hope the program will build a more positive relationship between the Sheriff’s Office and the youth of our community.
