Cooksville Road

County Highway 17, also known as the Cooksville Road, was improved from IL State Rte 9 to the Village of Cooksville in 2012. This project was a Cold In Place Recycling project. The existing asphalt pavement was widened. The existing asphalt pavement was pulverized by cold milling and injecting it with an engineered asphalt emulsion. The treated surface was rolled in place and a new asphalt surface was installed. New guardrail was installed. New raised reflective payment markers were installed for improved safety. This road has a Class III, 80,000 pound rating.
